2008 Sept-Oct: Longview, Texas

While we were in Longview, Texas, we, as always, visited with very dear friends and were keeping busy. While being here, we had some surprising, wonderful blessings! One day, as Marlynn went outside and Tinkerbell went after Marlynn and Norm went after Tinkerbell, who ran in front of a truck. As Norm apologized to the driver, they talked for a few minutes about what we do. The man left, but returned 15 minutes later to ask if we were having electrical issues with our bus. When Norm said “yes,” he handed him a cheque for $500 and said God told him to give us that money to deal with our wiring issues (the only way he [a stranger] could have known was through God). A few days later, after a concert in the evening, a guy walked up to Jonathan outside the bus and said God told him to give away $100 to someone, but it didn’t work out for the person he intended, so he said he knew why – it was supposed to be for us!

While in Texas, we have played at places such as the rescue mission, a biker church and other church events and have helped do some work projects. As always, God always takes care of our every need.
